HOW DO WE USE THE WRAPS?

Place the wrap around the item, storage container or bowl you wish to cover, the heat of your hands will activate the wrap and make it stick. You can also fold the wrap into a pouch or pocket!

With cold water and mild soap (soap that had no alcohol or harsh chemicals)

HOW DO OUR WRAPS KEEP OUR FOOD FRESHER FOR LONGER?

They act as a protective layer while allowing your food to breathe.

WHAT CAN WE WRAP IN OUR WRAPS?

Almost anything! They are even great used as wrapping paper for small gifts or snack pockets. However, beeswax wraps are not suitable for wrapping fresh meat, chicken or fish.

HOW DO WE STORE OUR WRAPS?

Feel free to store them as you wish, just be mindful that heat will melt your wraps. We store ours in our kitchen in the bottom draw and on our bench for easy access.

HOW LONG DO OUR WRAPS LAST FOR?

With the correct care, the wraps should last up to approximately 365 days. To prolong the life of your wraps, avoid high acidic/greasy foods and only wash your wraps in cold water with a mild soap.

WHAT ARE OUR WRAPS MADE OUT OF?

The wraps are made from 100% cotton which has been infused with natural beeswax, jojoba oil and pine resin/gum rosin.

CAN WE USE OUR WRAPS IN THE FREEZER?

Absolutely! just be mindful that you let the wrap warm to room temperature prior to unwrapping.

WILL OUR WRAPS STAIN?

As our wraps are light and pastel in colour, heavily pigmented foods such as pasta sauce and turmeric may stain the wraps. To minimise staining, be sure to wash the wraps in cold water with a mild soap.

CAN OUR WRAPS BE USED IN THE MICROWAVE OR OVEN?

No, heat will melt the wraps.

WHAT DO WE DO WHEN THE WRAPS ARE AT THE END OF THEIR LIFE?

You can either purchase a refresher bar from online and refresh your wraps yourself, put them in your home compost or even use them as a fire starter.

​

WILL OUR WRAPS LEAVE A RESIDUE?

In some instances the wrap may leave a residue on your container or glassware, however this is not harmful and can easily be removed with water and some soap.
